1. Hi, I like the look of these mittens. I’m having a hard time with printing out the pattern. I’ve tried different ways of doing it but one line always gets cut in half horizontally (half on one page, half on the next) and one page is always blank. It’s frustrating.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

2. Just hoping you can clarify for me, I think you may have the toddler mitten pattern a bit off, when you make the ribbed cuff it’s 18 rows, but then when you go into the hand part you say 16?? Also, I was wondering about the colour changes, do you cut between colour changes, or do you just string the other colour along under the stitches you’re doing? Thanks for your help.

3. Love the pattern but wondering about the small childs size. You say repeat rows 8 to 11 but row 8 had the chain stitches in it. Is this a mistake or am I doing something wrong.

4. Crystal – this mitten pattern was easy to follow and turned out beautiful! I made the Adult Med size for a girlfriend. Her son wanted to surprise his girlfriend with a hand made pair of mittens for her birthday. I used maroon and gold for colors since she attends the U of M – Go Gophers! She would like a hat to match. I’ll be searching Ralvery for the hat pattern.
Thanks again for the pattern!

5. I cant get round 9 right, I keep getting 30 st.
“ch 1, sc in same and next 4, ch (7,7,9), skip 5 st and sc in each st across. Join (24, 28, 32)”
Im doing size M adult. What am I doing wrong?

6. For the small adult mitten:. Can someone help me understand how if there are 24 stitches in Round 9, there are still 24 stitches in Round 10 when Round 10 contains 2dctog two times (so 4 stitches get combined into 2 stitches)? I can’t understand this plus I’m still short 1 stitch if it should be 22 stitches instead. Help!

7. I am following the large child pattern. I don’t understand how round 11 ends in 22 stitches and round 12 is suppose to end with 18 stitches? I don’t see any decreases?

8. I'm having trouble with Round 8, Large Child, mitten body. I keep coming up with 21 stitches, and Round 10 doesn't line up correctly unless, following "hdc next ch," I hdc in next, then start with "*hdc in next, fpdc in hdc 2 rounds below, repeat * around, join. I don't see any notes about this on either this Website or Ravelry, so it's probably just me. I've attempted this round numerous times, using stitch markers to help me keep things lined up. I appreciate your pattern, and your help!

1. After much labor, this is what I figured out for Round 8, Large Child: With Color B, ch 1, hdc in same, fpdc in hdc 2 rounds below, hdc in next, fpdc in hdc 2 rounds below, hdc in next, hdc next 2 chs, hdc2tog over next 2 chs, hdc next ch, *fpdc in hdc 2 rounds below, hdc next, repeat * around, join.

Unless I am counting wrong, the Large Child Thumb has 11 stitches through Round 8. I think you really want that to be an even number because of the way you skip stitches for Round 9. I'm looking at the way you got to an even number of stitches for the Small Adult, Medium Adult Thumb by inserting "hdc in space before chs." So, that is how I revised my Large Child Thumb to get to 12 stitches for Rounds 1-8. Round 9 has 6 stitches.

The Toddler Thumb says 10 stitches, but I only count 9. I didn't make it, but looked at it to see if I could figure out where I made my mistake. So, I can neither confirm nor deny that it is really incorrect.
