Another week has passed and another block has been made! I wasn’t too excited this week to work with orange but I have to say that these come out stunning regardless of the color used! Orange Gidget for the win! I was also nervous adding a lighter orange to the lower part of the wing, thinking it would stand out too much. I think it turned out perfect!

I also didn’t procrastinate or rush this week, making this an enjoyable nap-time project! This square was completed in under an hour so if you like to sew and need a speedy sewing fix, this is it!

If you’re just joining us, Stephanie from Smalltown Dreamz and I, are sewing up a butterfly wall hanging using the FREE pattern Butterfly Charm Blocks from Lillyella Stitchery . Check out previous posts to see Block 1, Block 2, and Block 3.

Check out Stephanie’s blog post to see how her butterfly charm square turned out this week!

Next week I’ll be working on another not-so-favorite color of mine. I can’t say that I’m a pink person but after seeing the orange, I am excited to see how the butterfly Cricket turns out in pink! I think it will be a perfect addition to my little collection! (And I REALLY am getting excited to complete this project!)
