Apple Scrubby Crochet Pattern
Materials:
- Yarn: Red Heart Scrubby Yarn in Cherry, small amount of brown cotton or scrubby yarn for stem, small amount of green cotton or scrubby yarn for leaf
- Hook: Furls H 5.00mm Candy Shop *get 15% off using code: crystalized15
- Scissors
- Yarn Needle
- Measuring Tape
Sizing:
One Size ~ 4"x 3.5"
Gauge:
14 dc, 11 rows = 4"
The Furls H 5.00mm Candy Shop was used to create this apple dish cloth crochet pattern. When using this hook, my gauge differed from when using a different H hook. Please always check gauge to ensure the best project!

- Sc: Single Crochet
- Sc2tog: Single Crochet 2 Together
- Hdc: Half Double Crochet
- Dc: Double Crochet
- BLO: Back Loop Only
- Slst: Slip Stitch

Pattern is worked in the round continuously. Use a stitch marker in either the first or last stitch of each round.
Apple Scrubby Crochet Pattern
With Red Scrubby Yarn, magic Circle
R1: Ch 1, 8 sc in circle - 8 sts
R2: 2 sc in each st around - 16 sts
R3: *sc in next, 2 sc in next, repeat * around - 24 sts
R4: *sc in next 2, 2 sc in next, repeat * around - 32 sts
R5: sc in next using BLO, working both loops the remaining round, hdc next, dc next 3, 2 dc in next, dc next, hdc next, sc next 4, hdc next, 2 dc in next, hdc next, slst in next 2, hdc next, 2 dc in next, hdc next, sc next 4, hdc next, dc next 2, 2 dc in next, dc next 3, hdc next – 36 sts
Slst next 2 sts. Finish off and weave in ends.
Apple Stem
Use brown cotton or scrubby yarn and join to front loop of first stitch in round 5 of apple.
Ch 6, starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc next 2, sc2tog over next 2 chs, sc next ch, slst to front loop of sc in Round 5.
Finish off and weave in ends.
Apple Leaf
Take green cotton or scrubby yarn and join to one of the top beginning chs from the apple stem.
Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch, hdc next 2, slst in next ch, slst in same beg ch from apple stem.
Finish off and weave in ends.
