The Branwen Slippers were designed for the 2019 Celebrate Mom Blog Hop hosted by Pattern Paradise! Everyday this month, a different designer is going to release a new pattern and be featured in honor of all those moms, whether it be your own, yourself, or another mom you know! For the list of designers and all the details, check out the 2019 Celebrate Mom Blog Hop & Giveaway blog post. A fun memory of my mother, I remember so many times as a little girl getting ‘paid’ to give my mom foot messages, and my payment was normally in the form of candy. The best part of those messages were that we’d just sit and talk. Above all, my mother is my best friend and the inspiration behind the Branwen Slippers, because every mother deserves to kick her feet up!

Standard decreases can be used for this pattern but if you prefer the stitches to look more clean in the toe area, use the Invisible Decrease for all decreases. Photo tutorials are at end of pattern for this.

  1. Hi, again! I’m loving the pattern so much–the shaping of the feet is wonderful. I had another question. When attaching the double soles, it says to crochet the back loop only. Is that supposed to be the BLO of the bottom of the sole facing you and the farther loop the the inner sole or the BLO of the bottom of the shoe and the FLO of the inner sole?
