I thought I had red and green pony beads for this project to make these canes more Christmasy but I did not. Regardless, the children had fun putting these together and it was a good hand eye coordination project!
What you need:
Silver Pipe Cleaners
Pony Beads of Multiple Colors
Add one bead on an end of the pipe cleaner. Roll that bead and the tip of the cleaner around. This will secure the end and keep them from falling off. Add beads to the pipe cleaner as desired. Repeat securing the end with another bead at the opposite end. See picture in slide show.
