Eagle Hand Print

This is a fun one! Children LOVE to get their hands painted, or to paint them themselves! Simple, yet fun and a great craft to do around July 4th or Independence Day!

What you need:

Paper

Paint Brushes

Brown, Yellow, White Paint

Newspaper (optional)

Googly Eyes (optional)

Paint child’s hand with brown paint. With thumbs down, place one hand at a time on the paper making sure bottom of palms are slightly touching. The thumbs will act as the Eagle’s feet, try to keep them pointed downward as much as possible. Once dry, paint thumb and pointer finger. Position thumb upward as Eagle’s neck and then pointer finger as Eagle’s head. Paint pinky finger yellow. Dab on tip of head for the Eagle’s beak. Attach eye if desired. Allow plenty of time to completely dry.
