This water bottle cozy frenzy started with the Back to School CAL and the Crayon Water Bottle Cozy I designed for it. Though I LOVE the crayon, I knew I wanted to make a marker and pencil water bottle cozy crochet pattern (yes, the marker will be coming next). My boys and a few children that modeled for me with the crayon cozies, had specifically requested them. And if kids beg for them, I’m not going to say no! This is a great way to use up little leftovers. They’re also a great gift, craft fair item, or even great for classroom prizes!

Special Pattern Notes: Beginning chain does not count as a stitch unless noted.
This pattern is mainly worked in the round. Use a stitch marker to help count rows by marking first stitch of each round. When joining with a color change, pull as tight as possible to align colors. After each color change, yarn can be cut and ends woven in.
