Special Pattern Notes:

This pattern can be adjusted for any size. To do so, increase or decrease initial chain in multiples of 2 for beginning chain and work the pattern as directed. Each row should have the same amount of stitches at the end.

The last dc in round 2 will be counted like a turning ch. You will not be working into this stitch when working back across. You also have the option of working the beginning of each row with a ch 1 but it’s not necessary.

Ch 20

R1: Starting in 2ndch from hook, *[sc, dc], sk next ch* repeat across (20 sts)

R2: Turn, *[sc, dc] in next sc, sk dc* repeat across (20 sts)

Repeat row 2 until piece measures 12” and continue to finishing notes.

Finishing Notes: Turn, ch 1, starting in same st, *sc across evenly, work 2 sc in corner* and turn work working down side. Repeat around entire blanket. Join with first sc.

Also, you can leave blanket as is without adding a border or you can add 3 sc in each corner to make the corner less rounded.
