Joining Sides

Place pieces wrong sides together and seam down from underarm to last row on Body of Garment on both sides. Mattress seam is recommended. Find a tutorial here.

Joining Shoulders

Measure and mark 4.5” (4.5”, 5.75”) in from both sides of beginning chains. Seam both sides together for 5”. Secure and weave in ends. Repeat from other side. This should leave an 11” neck hole. Mattress seam is recommended. Find a tutorial here.

For now arm slits, seam from edge for 9.5” (9.5”, 10.75”). This should leave an 11” neck hole.

Bottom Edging

Join yarn with a single crochet in one of the side seams. Work around continuously, there will be no seam then. Use a stitch marker to mark first or last stitch of each round.

Round 1: Hdc in each st and work 3 hdc in each ch 3 space around.

Rounds 2-4: Hdc in each st around.

Sl st in next st. Finish off and weave in ends.

Arm Edging

Join yarn with a sc at shoulder seam. Sc evenly around entire raw edges. Join and finish off. Weave in ends.

Neck Edging

Join yarn with a sc at shoulder seam. Sc evenly around entire beginning chain on both sides. Join and finish off. Weave in ends.

Blocking is recommended. Find a blocking tutorial here.

And that, my friend, is how to make the Brexley Crop Top.
