Does the color of a yarn catch your eye before the name? This yarn did for me! The mix of blues... it had me drooling! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. But when I did... find out exactly what I though, and what I made, in this Chroma Worsted Yarn Review.
These beautiful blues came from We Crochet. I swear I could peruse for hours and purchase everything from We Crochet! Picture above shows colorway Cousteau.
Chroma Worsted Yarn Review
About Chroma Worsted
This worsted weight yarn comes in 25 smooth, "color-transitioning" colors. With Chroma being a single ply, superwash wool and nylon blend yarn, it has a handmade appearance. Being a superior yarn, Chroma costs a bit more than other yarns. But 198 yards per ball makes for a decent sized ball for numerous projects.
If you're looking for a different size, you're in luck! Chroma Fingering and Chroma Twisted Bulky are also available.
Would I buy Chroma Worsted again?
I would! And I'm excited to try the fingering and bulky weights. This is now my favorite one ply yarn, and color-changing yarn.
Conclusion
I will be designing with this yarn again. I'll have to pick another color to match a different hook (which I love to do, it's almost an obsession). Interested in a hook of your own like the one shown above? Get 15% off the Furls Odyssey, or any item in the Furls Store, using code: crystalized15
What to make?
I have a smaller project in the works but the KoKo Cocoon Cardigan (free on the blog) is a perfectly cozy project to work up for the cooler seasons.

I have tried this wool also and I agree it is indeed a pleasure to work with.
I can’t wait to work with it more!
