And though Keppi is discontinued, this beanie works up great in any worsted weight yarn!

Free Beanie Crochet Pattern
0-3 Months: Ch 42, join without twisting
3-6 Months: Ch 50, join without twisting
6-12 Months: Ch 56, join without twisting
1-3 Years: Ch 64, join without twisting
3-10 Years: Ch 70, join without twisting
Teen/Adult: Ch 78, join without twisting
Leaving a 10″ beginning tail, chart according to chart above. Join.
R1: Ch 2, 2 dc in same, skip 1 ch, *2 dc in next, skip 1 ch,* repeat around, join – 42, 50, 56, 64, 70, 78 sts
R2: Turn, slst between next 2 dcs, ch 2, 2 dc between dcs, skip 2 dcs, *2 dc between dcs, skip 2 dcs, repeat * around, join – 42, 50, 56, 64, 70, 78 sts
Repeat Round 2 until length from Round 1 measures {4.5-5″, 5-5.5″, 5.5-6″, 6-6.5″, 6.5-7″, 7-7.5″}. Do not finish off. Increase or decrease length as desired, edging will add approximately 1.5″ to length.

Edging:
Edging will be worked in rows. For a tighter edging, use one hook smaller.
R1: Ch 9, slst in 2nd ch from hook and next 7 – 8 slsts
R2: Slst in next ch on beginning ch of hat (counts as ch 1), turn, skip 2 slsts just worked, slst in FLO of next 8 sts – 8 slsts
R3: Ch 1, turn, slst in FLO of next 8 slsts – 8 slsts
Repeat Row 2 and 3 around hat, ending on Row 3. There should be no unworked chains from Round 1. Turn hat wrong side out. Match up last row and first row of edging. Ch 1. Slst working through beginning chain of Row 1 and front loop of slsts on last row worked. Finish off and weave in ends. Turn hat right side out.
Weave beginning tail through stitches and pull tight to close. Then, secure and weave in ends.
