Designer Reviews

There are many types of crochet designers. From good ones, to great ones, to ones that you will never use their work again. There are detailed ones,  eccentric ones,  simple ones. There are designers that write out patterns, draw out patterns, or chart out patterns… and some that do more than one!

I’ve worked off patterns from over 100 different designers so I’d like to offer you my opinions. I’d like to offer you….

Designer Reviews!

Some designers I’ve worked off once, some I have to buy every single pattern they come out with, while others it may be just certain ones. (Yes, I admit it! I am a pattern hoarder!)  You can find my Ravelry Projects here. I know there are not so great designers out there but that’s not what this is about. These reviews will be positive, fun and a little glimpse of what the designer does and is like. In doing these reviews, I’ll be sharing with you a short interview with the designer if they’re able to chat with me, plus what work I have made from one or more of their patterns. Maybe even offer an exclusive discount from their shops for Crystalized Designs’ blog followers!

Be on the lookout next week for our first review!
I’m very excited to review this designer, she is one that I have almost all her patterns and can create items over and over from her designs!

Have a designer you want reviewed? Feel free to leave a blog comment telling me which designer you’d like to see reviewed! I will not review any patterns or designers that I feel are not professional or do not have quality patterns. These reviews are meant to share great designers with amazing patterns while getting to know them a little bit more!

  1. Love this post! Teri Crews Designs is awesome, and I have used a few of her patterns. Planet June is equally great, and I have used some of hers too. I’d love you to interview them please!
