November's scrubby is here! I really debated between a few ideas. But I decided to go with something that represented something personal to me, and that everyone deals with. Money! Long story short, I miss Black Friday shopping with my mom. And it is that time of year that everyone tends to make more than normal purchases. Why Crocheted Scrubby Patterns?
December 2019 started my crocheted dish cloth craze with the Melted Snowman Scrubby! This year, there's a new crocheted scrubby every month, forever free on the blog. This year-long project will give us a chance to create a new one every month, as well as replace our previous one, but also use up that scrubby yarn we have on hand. Money Scrubby Crochet Pattern
Materials:
- Yarn: Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle Yarn
in green
- Hook: Furls Odyssey Size G, 4.0mm

- Scissors
- Stitch Marker
- Yarn Needle
- Measuring Tape
Sizing:
One Size ~ 4"x 4.5"
Gauge:
13 hdc by 11 rows = 4”
The Furls H 5.00mm Odyssey Crochet Hook was used to create this star dish cloth crochet pattern. When using this hook, my gauge differed from when using a different H hook. Please always check gauge to ensure the best project!

- Ch: Chain
- Hdc: Half Double Crochet
- Slst: Slip Stitch
- St(s): Stitch(es)

Pattern Instructions
Magic Circle
R1: Ch 1, 10 hdc in circle – 10 sts
R2: Ch 1, 2 hdc in each st around – 20 sts
R3: Ch 1, 2 hdc in same, hdc in next, *2 hdc in next, hdc in next, repeat * around – 30 sts
R4: Ch 1, 2 hdc in same, hdc in next 2, *2 hdc in next, hdc in next 2, repeat * around – 40 sts
Rd 5: Ch 1, 2 hdc in same, hdc in next 3, *2 hdc in next, hdc in next 3, repeat * around – 50 sts
R6: Ch 1, 2 hdc in same, hdc in next 4, *2 hdc in next, hdc in next 4, repeat * around – 60 sts
Slst in next st. The top part of the money bag is worked in rows.
R7: Ch 1, 2 hdc in the same and each st across – 14 sts
R8: Ch 1, turn, 2 hdc in same and each st across – 28 sts
R9: Ch 1, turn, hdc in same and each st across – 28 sts
Finish off and weave in ends. Wrap extra scrubby yarn around Row 7 a few times. Secure.
