Holiday Crochet Cowl Pattern
Materials:
- Yarn: Lion Brand Hometown USA (2 Skeins or 95 yards Color A, 1 Skein or 50 yards Color B)
- Hook: Furls N 9.00mm Odyssey Crochet Hook *get 15% off using code: crystalized15
- 3 3/8” Pom Pom Maker or create a pom pom using this tutorial
- Stitch Marker
- Scissors
- Yarn Needle
- Measuring Tape
Sizing:
One Size: 8" height, 28" circumference
Gauge:
8 sc by 9 rows = 4"
The Furls N 9.00mm Odyssey Crochet Hook was used to create this pattern. When using this hook, my gauge differed from when using a different N hook. Please always check gauge to ensure the best project!
Pattern Key:
- Ch: Chain
- Sc: Single Crochet
- Slst: Slip Stitch
- St(s): Stitch(es)
- BLO: Back Loop Only
- *: Repeat according to instructions

Cut three 504" (or 14 yard) lengths using Color B. Make three 3 3/8” pom poms using Color B.

Pattern Instructions
Ch 66 with Color A, join without twisting
R1: Ch 1, sc in each ch around – 66 sts
Cowl is worked continuously around. Use stitch marker to mark first or last stitch of each round. Entire project is worked in BLO.
R2: Sc in each st around – 66 sts
R3-6: *Sc in next 12 switching to Color B, sc in next 4 switching to color A, sc in next 2 switching to Color B, sc in next 4 switching to Color A, repeat * around – 66 sts
R7-8: *Sc in next 12 switching to Color B, sc in next 10 switching to color A, repeat * around – 66 sts
R9-12: *Sc in next 12 switching to Color B, sc in next 4 switching to color A, sc in next 2 switching to Color B, sc in next 4 switching to Color A, repeat * around – 66 sts
R13-14: Sc in each st around – 66 sts
Slst in next st. Finish off and weave in ends. Sew one pom pom to the right of each H.
