Each pattern uses pom poms and Clover Pom Pom Makers are highly recommended. But if you don't have a set in your crochet toolbag, you can check out this post and see how easy it is to make your own.
Tutorials like How to Join with a Single Crochet and the Invisible Decrease Stitch are also helpful in this series. But don't worry, each pattern will point you towards the tutorials needed.
